There’s no going wrong with the tried-and-true Corolla, but if you’re set on the same attributes but with a sportier look, the Corolla Hatchback is your answer. It gives the sensible compact nameplate a more athletic – more youthful, you might say – appearance with its sleek and sloped body. Toyota has streamlined the lineup to just a pair of trim grades for the 2027 model year, bidding adieu to the track-styled FX and its heritage-inspired accents. The entry trim, the SE, upgrades to a 7-inch digital gauge display, while the more extensively equipped XSE receives a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.5-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen. Both of these larger displays are available on the SE via a new optional bundle, the SE Premium Package. The paint palette has a couple of new entries, Inked and Blueprint, and every Corolla Hatchback comes with a standard five-year trial of the Remote Connect service so that drivers can remotely interact with their vehicle through the Toyota app.
