2026 Toyota
Camry
Back for its second year as a hybrid-only model, the 2026 Camry continues to prioritize efficiency – returning up to 52 mpg – while adding a little flair with a new trim that stands out from the crowd. The midsized sedan joins other Toyota nameplates by bringing in a Nightshade trim, distinguished by a blacked-out appearance. The Camry Nightshade comes with most of the same amenities as the SE, with the addition of some gloss-black elements. Buyers can choose from three paint colors: Midnight Black Metallic, Ice Cap White, or Supersonic Red. As for the rest of the lineup, a new Dark Cosmos color joins the exterior palette, and the top two trims now share the same Premium and Premium Plus Packages. The XLE is eligible for the ventilated front seats that were previously only available in the XSE, which itself is now offered with rain-sensing windshield wipers (previously only an option for the XLE).
Every new Toyota, including the 2026 Camry, is covered by ToyotaCare no-cost maintenance for two years or 25,000 miles, taking care of regular factory-scheduled maintenance (multipoint inspections, tire rotations, and oil changes), along with two years (unlimited miles) of 24-hour roadside assistance.

The 2026 Camry’s lineup consists of five trims: LE, SE, Nightshade, XLE, and XSE. Their powertrain unites a 184-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with dual electric motors for a total output of 225 horsepower. A front-wheel drivetrain and an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (eCVT) are standard; the SE, Nightshade, and XSE get paddle shifters. The optional electronic on-demand all-wheel drivetrain (AWD) adds an electric motor on the rear axle and increases the combined horsepower to 232.
The LE leads the lineup in fuel efficiency, returning 52 mpg city with FWD, 50 mpg city with AWD, and 49 mpg highway in either drivetrain. The rest of the lineup achieves 47 mpg city and 45 mpg highway with FWD, and 46 mpg city/highway with AWD, except the XSE, which drops to 43 mpg city/highway. Every Camry’s drive mode selector has Sport, Eco, Normal, and EV modes. The LE and XLE ride on independent MacPherson front struts with tower bracing, and a multi-link rear suspension (both with stabilizer bars), while the SE, Nightshade, and XSE upgrade to sport-tuned shocks and springs.
Standard Furnishings
The LE’s sporty appearance shows off a lower rear diffuser, front side air curtains, a horizontal bar grille, Bi-LED projector headlights with auto-on/off, LED daytime running lights, LED combination taillights, and 16-inch silver-painted alloy wheels. It also gets fabric-trimmed seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 7-inch digital gauge cluster, wireless smartphone charging, remote keyless entry, push-button start, five USB ports (three front, two rear), a 12-volt auxiliary power outlet, a manual day/night rearview mirror, heated power exterior mirrors with integrated turn signals and blind-spot warning indicators, halogen turn-signal and reverse lights, an acoustic noise-reducing windshield, and an overhead console with sunglasses storage.
The SE upgrades its look with a dual-tipped chrome exhaust, a rear spoiler, a rear lower diffuser, a mesh grille, 18-inch black-finished alloy wheels, sporty aluminum pedals, racing-inspired black air curtains and front side canards, and side rocker panels. On the inside, it adds SofTex upholstery, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a leather-trimmed steering wheel and shift knob. The debuting Nightshade makes a statement with every amenity and sport-trim accent found on the SE, all in a distinctive gloss-black finish, along with black badging and 19-inch satin black-finished alloy wheels.
The XLE and XSE both get heated front seats, an 8-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a HomeLink universal transceiver, the Smart Key System on the front doors and trunk, dual LED projector headlights with auto-on/off, premium LED combination taillights, white LED ambient interior lighting, noise-reducing front side glass, and adjustable rear headrests. The XLE is leather- and microfiber-upholstered with 18-inch two-tone machined and black-finished wheels, while the XSE boasts a full leather interior and 19-inch smoked gray and black-finished alloy wheels.
Optional Packages
The Convenience Package gives the LE, SE, and Nightshade an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a HomeLink universal garage door opener and the Smart Key System on the front doors (the LE also gets the power-adjustable driver’s seat that the other trims receive with their standard equipment). The Cold Weather Package equips all three lower trims with heated front seats and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel. The LE, SE, and Nightshade are also all eligible to add a power moonroof. The Premium Package enhances the XLE and XSE with a panoramic moonroof, heated and ventilated front seats, a 10-inch head-up display, driver’s-side seat and mirror memory, and Digital Key compatibility.

The XLE and XSE may upgrade to a 9-speaker JBL audio system with a subwoofer and amplifier by adding the Premium Package or Premium Plus Package.
