The hatchback variant of Toyota’s long-time favorite compact car brings a sporty edge to the nameplate with track-inspired style. For the 2026 model year, the Corolla Hatchback shows a lineup change, slotting in the mid-grade FX to take the place of the Nightshade Edition. The newcomer is distinguished by a rear-mounted vented wing in place of the standard spoiler, along with heritage badging that pays homage to the original FX16. It also gets black exterior accents to contrast with its gloss-white wheels, as well as sport seats with orange accent stitching. In other improvements, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert is now standard on every trim, adding to the Corolla Hatchback’s safety and practicality factor.
