2025 Toyota Sienna Hero

The Toyota Sienna has a long history as a well-loved family vehicle with all everything needed for a smooth and comfortable road trip. It seats up to eight passengers in a spacious cabin that offers an array of thoughtful interior options, such as a cooler (FridgeBox) to keep snacks and drinks chilled and an onboard vacuum to tidy up between adventures. With its attractive styling, well-defined contours, and confident front fascia, the Sienna also appeals to those who crave both practicality and style.

The Sienna’s updates for 2025 include the addition of the vacuum and fridge box in the Platinum (they’re optional on the Limited). Plus, Toyota’s advanced rear occupant alert system is now standard on every trim. New interior finishes on the seats, console, and dashboard add a touch of elegance, while a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen and digital gauge cluster (now included in the XSE, Woodland Edition, Limited, and Platinum) increase its tech-savvy feel. The Woodland Edition and Platinum also sport redesigned wheels, and Magnetic Gray Metallic paint is now available across all trims except the Woodland Edition.

Trims, Powertrain, and Performance

The 2025 Sienna lineup consists of six trims: LE, XLE, XSE, Woodland Edition, Limited, and Platinum. Each is powered by a fuel-efficient hybrid powertrain, which pairs a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with either two or three electric motors, depending on the drivetrain (all-wheel drive is standard with the Woodland Edition and available for all other trims, which are front-wheel drive by default). The system produces a combined 245 horsepower and achieves an EPA-estimated 36 mpg in both city and highway driving with FWD, while AWD versions return 34 mpg around town. Plus, all trims can tow up to 3,500 pounds, adding to the Sienna’s all-around practicality.

Notable Amenities

The LE comes well equipped with features like fabric upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, seven USB ports (one media and six charging), a 7-inch multi-information display, remote keyless entry, push-button start, 18 cup and bottle holders, manual second-row sunshades, heated side mirrors with blind-spot indicators, automatic LED headlights, and dual power-sliding rear doors. The driver’s seat is power adjustable, and the 60/40-split third-row seats fold down for expanded cargo capacity.

The XLE’s upgrades are SofTex upholstery, heated front seats, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, quad-zone automatic climate control, a moonroof, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, proximity keyless entry, LED fog lights, a power liftgate, and hands-free power-sliding doors. The sportier XSE boasts a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, black exterior accents, side rocker panels, and a unique mesh grille.

The Woodland Edition includes a tow hitch receiver with a four-pin connector, a roof rack system, and two 120V power outlets. The Limited brings premium touches like genuine leather upholstery (SofTex for the third row), ventilated front seats with driver’s position memory, manual third-row sunshades, and advanced side mirrors (auto-dimming and power-folding with position memory, puddle lights, and passenger-side reverse gear tilt-down). At the top of the lineup, the Platinum features a heated steering wheel, heated second-row seats, an integrated vacuum and FridgeBox, a 10-inch head-up display, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and unique two-tone wheels.

Sliding second-row captain’s chairs are standard in the XSE on up (optional in the XLE), reducing seating capacity from eight to seven. In the Limited and Platinum, these captain’s chairs come with ottomans for added comfort.

Advanced Safety Features

Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 is standard in every ‘25 Sienna trim, bringing a comprehensive suite of driver-assist technologies, such as a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, automatic high beams, full-speed range dynamic radar cruise control, and road sign assist. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and a rear-seat reminder are also included across the board. Beyond that, higher trims add front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, while the Platinum tops the range with a surround-view camera.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The base LE features an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, a six-speaker audio system, and Bluetooth. The higher trims receive a 12.3-inch touchscreen, with the XLE, XSE, and Woodland Edition also getting a superior eight-speaker sound setup. In the Limited and Platinum, though, a sublime 12-speaker JBL stereo elevates the experience.

Packages and Individual Options

Toyota offers some optional equipment packages for buyers to further personalize their ‘25 Sienna. The LE Plus Package, for instance, adds a moonroof, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, roof rails, and an upgraded eight-speaker audio system. The XLE Plus and XSE Plus packages come with roof rails and a 12-speaker JBL sound system. With the XSE Premium Package, you’ll get position memory settings (for the steering wheel, side mirrors, and driver’s seat), power-folding and auto-dimming side mirrors with passenger reverse gear tilt-down, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, and manual third-row sunshades. To keep rear occupants satisfied on long road trips, the Entertainment Package (available for XLE and above trims) includes an 11.6-inch HD display, an HDMI input, a remote, and a pair of wireless headphones. Some standalone options include a hands-free liftgate for the XLE, XSE, and Limited, as well as a digital rearview mirror for the Limited and Platinum.
