Trims and Powertrains

Toyota presents four grades for the 2024 GR Supra: the 2.0. 3.0, 3.0 Premium, and the 45th Anniversary Edition. The 2.0’s namesake turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine puts out 255 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. This punchy powerplant takes the entry-level GR Supra from zero to 60 mpg in 5.0 seconds and delivers an electronically limited 155 mph top speed. The higher trims have a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine producing 382 horsepower and 368 lb.-ft. of torque. It provides 0-to-60 mph performance in 3.9 seconds and similar top speed. The GR Supra is rear-wheel-drive only. The 2.0 is made only with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while buyers of the higher trims can choose a six-speed manual gearbox or the automatic.

The GR Supra 2.0 is EPA-rated to achieve 25 mpg around town and 31 mpg on the open road. The six-cylinder trims return an estimated 23 mpg in the city and 31 on the highway with the automatic transmission and 19 city/27 highway with the manual.

Standard Features

The GR Supra 2.0 has proximity keyless entry, Alcantara leather-trimmed sport seats with lumbar and bolster controls, dual-zone automatic climate control, LED exterior lighting, push-button start, heated auto-folding side mirrors with a memory function, an 8.8-inch digital instrument display, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an electric parking brake, dual exhaust outlets with polished stainless-steel tips, and 18-inch aluminum wheels. The 3.0 trim adds an adaptive suspension, an active rear sport differential, four-piston Brembo brakes, heated 14-way power seats, a driver’s position memory system, and 19-inch aluminum wheels.

The standard upgrades for the 3.0 Premium include leather-trimmed sport seats, a head-up display, and sport pedals. The 45th Anniversary edition takes the 3.0 Premium’s standard equipment and adds a manually adjustable rear spoiler, “SUPRA” side graphics, and orange strut tower braces. Toyota only makes it in a choice of two paint colors: Absolute Zero white and Mikan Blast orange.

Advanced Driver Aids

The advanced driver-assist technologies for the GR Supra include forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with steering assist, and automatic high beams. Airbags, anti-lock brakes, vehicle stability control, traction control, hill start assist control, and a rearview monitor with parking aids are among the other standard safety equipment in the GR Supra.

The available Safety & Technology Package (offered for the 2.0 and 3.0) adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control (standard cruise control with manual transmission), and parking sensors with emergency braking. (This option also includes additional infotainment features, which are covered in the next section). The 3.0 Premium and 45th Anniversary are available with the Driver Assist Package, which has everything from the Safety & Technology Package minus the infotainment upgrades (which those trims already get standard).

Infotainment and Connectivity

Infotainment for the 2024 Toyota GR Supra 2.0 and 3.0 is handled through an 8.8-inch display screen with Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, a four-speaker audio system (ten speakers for the 3.0), USB connectivity, and access to connected services (for emergency help, remote vehicle access, and other features). The 3.0 Premium and 45th Anniversary Edition also uses an 8.8-inch touchscreen, but the system adds navigation (optional on the lower trims), a 12-speaker JBL sound system, and wireless device charging.
