Trims and Powertrains

XLE and Limited are the two trim grades for the first-ever Crown Signia. Their hybrid powertrain pairs a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors to create 243 combined horsepower. All-wheel drive is standard and a drive-mode selector comes standard, with settings labeled NORMAL, SPORT, and ECO.

Like the Toyota Crown sedan, it’s built on the TNGA-K platform, which is noted for reduced noise intrusion and limiting vibration in the body, floor, and steering. The Crown Signia can tow up to 2,700 pounds, earning it status as an ideal vehicle for outdoor adventurers.

Unique Design Features

The XLE boasts leather upholstery, proximity keyless entry, push-button ignition, heated and ventilated power-adjustable (eight-way) front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, wireless device charging, a Smart Key System (front doors only), a heated steering wheel, position memory for the driver, heated rear outboard seats, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, LED exterior lights (including auto on/off headlights), two zones of auto climate control, heated power-adjustable exterior mirrors with built-in turn indicators, low-profile roof rails, a cargo-area cover, five USB ports (including three in the front row), a hands-free liftgate, and black-accented multi-spoke 19-inch machined two-tone alloy wheels. The Limited’s upgrades consist of Smart Key for all four doors and the liftgate, a panoramic fixed-glass roof (with power sunshade), auto-leveling headlights, a digital rearview mirror, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and 21-inch dark gray metallic alloy wheels.

Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology

Every Crown Signia has Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 (TSS 3.0) installed. It equips the vehicle with adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert, pre-collision mitigation with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, proactive driving assist, pedestrian detection, road sign recognition, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit assist, and rear seat reminder. The Limited is eligible for the optional Advanced Technology Package, which will add a panoramic view monitor, front cross-traffic alert, traffic jam assist, and lane change assist.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The Crown Signia’s 12.3-inch infotainment system brings together the connectivity features that everyone wants. The list includes wireless Bluetooth connectivity, wireless smartphone connection (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), cloud-based navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, and HD Radio. The XLE has a six-speaker sound system while the Limited moves up to a top-quality JBL unit 11 speakers, plus an amplifier and subwoofer. Toyota Connected Services is standard as well, allowing Crown Signia drivers to reach the vehicle remotely, sign on to the Internet via Wi-Fi hotspot, and receive emergency assistance.
