2022 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid for Sale in Warwick, RI
Trims and Powertrain
The ’22 RAV4 Hybrid is an all-wheel drive five-passenger crossover that’s presented in six trim levels: LE, XLE, XLE Premium, SE, XSE, and Limited. Their hybrid powertrain consists of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and two electric motors (one on the front axle and the other on the rear) that produce a total system output of 219 hp. Regardless of trim level, the ’22 RAV4 Hybrid pulls off an impressive 41 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.
Amenities by Trim
The base LE is road-trip ready with roof rails, remote keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, an overhead console sunglasses holder, LED headlights, a drive mode selector (Sport, Eco, Normal, EV, and Trail), three USB ports (one media and two charging), two 12-volt power outlets, and a 60/40-split folding rear seatback. The XLE adds proximity entry, push-button start, heated side mirrors with turn-signal and blind-spot warning indicators, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a cargo area tonneau cover, and two additional USB charging ports.
The XLE Premium piles in more features: LED fog lights, a moonroof, a power liftgate, rear AC vents, synthetic leather upholstery, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. The SE doesn’t inherit most of the XLE Premium’s deluxe features, such as the LED fog lights, synthetic leather upholstery, moonroof, and power liftgate (the moonroof and power liftgate are optional), but it does get vibrant blue interior accents and a sport-tuned suspension.
The XSE is a mix between the XLE Premium and SE, receiving most of the features from the XLE Premium (minus the fog lights), as well as the contents of the SE. The XSE also has a striking two-tone exterior, blue-painted shocks, a digital gauge cluster, heated front seats, a cargo area storage net, and blue ambient interior lighting. The Limited lacks the XSE’s enhanced suspension components and blue accents, but it does have fog lights, side-mirror puddle lights, position memory for the driver’s seat, a power-adjustable front passenger’s seat, ventilated front seats, and dark brown interior trim.
Several of those upscale items are available for the lower trims as options. Some of the other noteworthy add-ons consist of a panoramic moonroof, a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, a wireless phone charger, rain-sensing wipers, and a digital rearview mirror that allows you to see out the rear window even with a fully loaded cargo area.
Every ’22 RAV4 Hybrid has the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 suite of active safety technologies (forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, and traffic sign recognition). The XLE adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, while the Limited receives front and rear parking sensors with automatic emergency braking, which are available on the XLE Premium and XSE. The XSE and Limited qualify for a surround-view camera system.
The version of the infotainment system in the LE, XLE, XLE Premium, and SE has a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, a six-speaker sound system, and SiriusXM satellite radio. The LE is the only trim in that list that’s not eligible for the available 9-inch touchscreen, which is standard in the XSE and Limited (the XSE and Limited also qualify for navigation). The XLE Premium may be ordered with a premium 11-speaker JBL sound system, which is standard in the Limited.
