2022 Toyota Prius for Sale in Warwick, RI

Overview
Through its iconic hatchback style, outstanding fuel economy, and all-wheel drive capability, the Toyota Prius has become the face of the hybrid vehicle class while reigning as the go-to choice for eco-conscious commuters. While the Prius’s overall appeal hasn’t changed for the upcoming 2022 model year, a stylish Nightshade special edition upgrade has been added. It comes in a trio of paint colors – Midnight Black Metallic, Super White, and Silver Metallic – with contrasting exterior trim in black. The front-wheel drive versions of this special variant ride on black 17-inch wheels, while those with all-wheel drive get 15-inch wheels with black lug nuts. The Nightshade cabin has high-comfort SofTex heated and power-adjustable front seats and a heated steering wheel that’s also enrobed in SofTex.

Trim Levels and Mechanical Details
Toyota makes four grades of the 2022 Prius: L Eco, LE, XLE, and Limited, with each eligible for the new Nightshade special edition treatment. Power comes from a hybrid system that consists of a 1.8-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and an electric motor that team up to make 121 horsepower. This powerplant works with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (ECVT) and a standard front-wheel drivetrain; all-wheel drive is offered for the LE and XLE. According to the EPA’s official estimates, the L Eco achieves 58 mpg in the city and 53 mpg on the highway while the other trims with FWD return 54 city/50 highway. The AWD versions are good for 51 city/47 highway.
Standard and Available Features
The L Eco presents some great features for the lowest-priced trim: 15-inch wheels, LED headlights, heated side mirrors, keyless entry for the driver’s-side door, push-button ignition, a rearview camera, automatic climate control, a 12-volt power outlet, and a 60/40 split fold-down rear seatback with a center armrest. The LE adds a rear wiper blade and a cargo area cover. The XLE gets 17-inch wheels, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, keyless entry for the front doors and rear hatch, a SofTex-trimmed steering wheel, SofTex-upholstered heated front seats, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a wireless smartphone charger, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a garage door opener. An adaptive front lighting system is available for the XLE and standard on the Limited; a moonroof is available for the XLE and Limited.
Safety and Technology
The Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 suite of advanced driver aids is standard on all trims. It raises the driver’s confidence level with lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, full-speed dynamic radar cruise control, road sign assist, and automatic high beams. The LE and remaining trims gain parking sensors with intelligent parking assist, as well as blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
The ’22 Prius renders a nice lineup of interior technologies, too. In the L Eco, LE, and XLE, the infotainment system has a 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a six-speaker sound system. The Limited drops Android Auto but gets an 11.6-inch split-screen touch display, a high-end 10-speaker JBL audio system, and integrated navigation.
