2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid for Sale in Warwick, RI
Over the years, the Toyota RAV4 has been not just one of the most popular crossovers but one of the top-selling vehicles in the U.S. Favored for its reliability and versatility, it continues to win drivers over with its undeniable practicality, which is only heightened through the availability of a hybrid powertrain. The gas-electric version means a lower carbon footprint and fewer trips to the fuel pump. Plus, it still comes with the conventional RAV4’s signature style, so you’ll be able to enjoy the best parts of that model with the added benefit of greener operation. For the 2021 model year, the RAV4 Hybrid gets a new XLE Premium trim level.
Trims and Powertrain
The ’21 RAV4 Hybrid is sold in five trim levels: the LE, XLE, XLE Premium, XSE, and Limited. The powertrain is made up of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and two electric motors working with a continuously variable transmission and all-wheel drivetrain. Total system output is 219 hp. All trims return an EPA-estimated 41 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.
Standard and Optional Features
The LE comes with LED headlights, roof rails, rear privacy glass, keyless entry, a USB media port, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 60/40 split reclining fold-flat rear seat, and a rearview camera. The XLE gets heated side mirrors with turn-signal and blind-spot indicators, a cargo area cover, fog lights, a touch-sensor lock/unlock feature on the front doors, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, Toyota’s Smart Key System (doesn’t require use of the key fob to lock and unlock the doors), push-button start, and five USB ports. The XLE Premium gets a moonroof, a power liftgate, simulated-leather seats (SofTex), upgraded climate controls, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.
The XSE has a sport-tuned suspension, black-painted wheels, two-tone paint with black trim, a digital instrument cluster, SofTex-trimmed seats with fabric inserts and blue stitching, heated front seats, a rearview camera with dynamic guidelines, and a digital rearview mirror with HomeLink. The Limited loses the XSE’s sporty attributes but returns the full SofTex-upholstered seats and adds puddle lights and dark brown interior trim. Some of the more upscale features are available for the lower-level trims. Other notable add-ons consist of a panoramic glass roof, a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, rain-sensing wipers, a hands-free liftgate, and a wireless smartphone charger.
Safety and Technology
Every ’21 RAV4 Hybrid has the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 bundle of active safety technologies. In the LE, this includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with steering assist, lane tracing assist, automatic high beams, full-speed range dynamic radar cruise control, and road sign assist. The XLE and above receive a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert. The Limited gets front and rear park assist and qualifies for a surround-view camera system.
The LE, XLE, and XLE Premium deliver an infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen, a six-speaker audio system, satellite radio, Bluetooth capability, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The XSE and above upgrade to an 8-inch touchscreen. The Limited is loaded up with navigation and a top-shelf 11-speaker JBL audio system.
