New Toyota 2020 Toyota Camry Hybrid for Sale in Warwick, RI
The Toyota Camry Hybrid returns for 2020 with the expected high-quality engineering and features that Toyota is known for. This eco-friendly four-door is full of advanced safety and multimedia features, provides a smooth and comfortable ride, and has excellent fuel economy. Android users will rejoice, too, as the ’20 Camry hybrid now comes standard with Android Auto on all trim levels. Overall, the ’20 Camry Hybrid does everything well, making it one of the best cars in its segment.
The ’20 Camry Hybrid is only offered in three trim levels: LE, SE, and XLE. The base model LE is well equipped with dual-zone automatic climate control, an integrated backup camera with projected path visual aid, a 4.2-inch multi-information display, a power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support, push-button start, three USB ports, a 7-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, Bluetooth capability, and a six-speaker audio system. The SE trim gets Sport SoftTex-trimmed front seats, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, and some additional driver-assist features (see the Safety section below for details). At the top, the XLE adds rear-seat ventilation, an integrated backup camera with dynamic gridlines, a wireless smartphone charger, a larger (7-inch) multi-information display, leather-trimmed and heated front seats, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, tiger-eye wood interior trim, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, interior ambient lighting, and an 8-inch touchscreen display.
Mechanical Features and Fuel Economy
The Camry Hybrid’s dual power source is a 2.5-liter 176 horsepower dynamic force 4-cylinder engine working in conjunction with a 118 hp electric motor, resulting in 208 net horsepower for the system. The transmission is an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (ECVT) with sequential shift mode. All models are front-wheel drive and feature an independent MacPherson strut front suspension with a stabilizer bar, but the SE exclusively gets sport-tuned shock absorbers and springs. The Camry Hybrid’s fuel economy is its most attention-getting quality. The LE trim gets an EPA-estimated 51 mpg city and 53 mpg highway, and the SE and XLE trims trail slightly with an EPA-rated 44 mpg city and 47 mpg highway. The 13.2-gallon fuel tank means you can drive more than 600 miles without stopping to fill up.
The 2020 Camry earned a 5-Star Overall Safety Rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for its exceptional crashworthiness, as well as being designated a Top Safety Pick+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). These high safety scores are no surprise, since the Camry has been intelligently designed with plenty of advanced safety features. All Camry Hybrids come standard with Toyota Safety Sense P, which includes driver-assist features like a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, automatic high beams, and full-speed range dynamic radar cruise control. The XLE trim also gets a standard blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert to make backing out of tough spots easier.
