2019 Toyota Sienna
Some things never change, and this model year’s Toyota Sienna is still the perfect choice for family transportation. With standard active safety features and available technology such as Amazon Alexa, a 16.4-inch Blu-ray entertainment system, the 2019 Sienna makes road travel safe and fun for up to eight passengers. Toyota’s patented Safety Sense system, which comes standard on all Sienna trims, adds a suite of advanced safety features for collision avoidance and mitigation. The Sienna is also the only vehicle in its class with available all-wheel drive, providing added security on the road in suboptimal conditions.
Trims & Mechanical Features
The Sienna comes in seven trim levels (L, LE, LE with Auto Access Seat, SE, XLE, XLE with Auto Access Seat, and Limited) to accommodate a variety of needs. All models are equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 296 horsepower and 263 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine is paired with an 8-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with intelligence; front-wheel drive is standard, with available all-wheel drive on all models except the L, LE with Auto Access Seat, and XLE with Auto Access Seat. The FWD version delivers an EPA-rated 19 mpg city and 27 mpg highway, while the AWD trails closely with an EPA rated 18 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.
The base L trim is set up with second-row captain’s chairs, allowing seating for seven. The amenities on this trim include a 4.2-inch multi-information display, three-zone automatic climate control, the Entune 3.0 infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen, and an integrated backup camera. The LE receives a 20/40/20 split second-row bench seat, bringing the seating capacity up to eight. It also gets an upgraded version of Entune 3.0 Audio and all-wheel drive availability. The LE with Auto Access Seat retains the LE’s features while adding a power-rotating lift-up seat and dual power sliding side doors and power liftgate. The mid-tier SE comes standard with sports instrumentation with a 4.2-inch multi-information display and daytime running lights, as well as Entune 3.0 Premium Audio with JBL availability. Moving up to the XLE will get you leather-trimmed and multi-stage heated front seats, a smart key system with push-button start, and dual-view Blu-ray disc entertainment center availability. In addition to a power-rotating lift-up seat, the XLE with Auto Access Seat is available with Entune 3.0 Premium Audio with dynamic navigation. The top-of-the-line Limited comes standard with Entune 3.0 Premium Audio with JBL, dynamic navigation, and front and rear parking assist sonar.
